Happy Thursday, and welcome to a roundup of new releases that have been added to Netflix in the US so far this week. Below, we’ll take a look at some of the highlights of new releases and the current trends in the top 10 on Netflix.

Even though we’re coming to the end of the week, Netflix still has a stacked lineup thanks to the fact that we’re heading into a new month this weekend. We’ve got your full preview list of what’s to come this week, including new seasons of One piece, Annihilation, Nimona, and more.

As a reminder, nearly 100 titles are leaving Netflix this weekend (we’ve curated 11 must-see picks here), with highlights including american gangsterall Austin Powers films, bad boys, and the Alfred Hitchcock classic, Psychopath.

The best new movies and series added to Netflix on June 29, 2023

run rabbit run (2023)

Premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, run rabbit run is the new movie Netflix picked up from XYZ Films featuring Succession star Sarah Snook.

Playing a fertility doctor named Sarah; the story is about how she battles old demons to keep her daughter safe after she starts exhibiting strange behaviors.

Critics are particularly divided on the film, and audience scores have been much better so far. SlashFilm Review by Erin Brady perhaps it best sums up the views of most critics by praising the two leads but stating that the film doesn’t quite know what it wants to be.

At the start of the week, Netflix re-added The Imitation Game, which has come and gone from the Netflix US library many times over the past few years, but is always a welcome new addition.

The Oscar-winning film, for those who don’t know it, stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the mathematician who leads a team that eventually cracks the elusive Enigma code.

  • Delete (Season 1) Netflix Original – TV-MA – Thai – A pair of lovers having an extramarital affair plot a new life together after discovering a phone that can erase other people from existence.
  • Hoarders (Season 12) – TV-14 – English – This reality series delves into the world of compulsive hoarders, whose addiction to acquiring overwhelms not only their homes but also their lives.
  • Muscles & Mayhem: An Unauthorized History of American Gladiators (Limited Series) Netflix Original – TV-MA – English – In the 1990s, TV stunt-filled “American Gladiators” thrilled fans. This docuseries explores the success of the show and how it was almost over before it began.
  • Ooku: The Inner Chambers (Season 1) Netflix Original – TV-MA – Japanese – In an alternate story where the male population is nearly decimated, eligible men serve as concubines for the female shogun within the walls of Ooku.
  • Starlight BnB (Season 1 – New episodes weekly) – TV-G – Mandarin – The beloved cast of “Light the Night” reunites once again. This time, they will work together to create a hostel experience like no other.
  • The price of glory (season 1) – TV-MA – Spanish – This electrifying musical drama follows four talented singers and the challenges they face on the road to fame. The biggest? His manager.
  • The Witcher (Season 3 – Volume 1) Netflix Original – TV-MA – English – Geralt of Rivia, a mutant monster hunter for hire, journeys toward his destiny in a turbulent world where people often prove more evil than beasts.
