Valerie Bertinelli’s Food Network show «Valerie’s Home Cooking» has been canceled after 14 seasons, the host shared on Instagram Saturday.

In the video, Bertinelli said he had «some good news» as well as some «bad news» for his fans.

“The good news is (April 9) at 12 noon on Food Network, ‘Valerie’s Home Cooking’ season 14 begins airing all new episodes,” he said. «The bad news is that it’s his last season.»

Bertinelli said the network canceled his show last summer and he «had no idea why,» adding: «I didn’t say anything last summer because I honestly hoped they’d change their minds. But they haven’t.»

«So this is it. This is the last season,» he continued. «I’ve loved doing this show. It was a dream come true. Every part of it brought me so much joy. I love the crew. I loved everyone on the production They loved doing this show for you.”
