The president of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos, assured that with the peace process in Havana he is neither handing over the country to the FARC guerrillas nor is he going to establish a regime similar to those of Cuba or Venezuela.
«There is nothing that is being negotiated (in the peace process) that should worry a foreign or Colombian investor,» the president said at an event in New York, where he arrived to attend the UN General Assembly.
Santos also met with the Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, who expressed his support for the peace process with the FARC.
