The Republican Party will hold its second presidential primary debate of the year at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, the chairman of the Republican National Committee announced Thursday.

POLITICO reported Thursday that RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel would make the announcement during a speech Thursday night at the library, according to a person familiar with the comments. Her speech focused on the future of the party leading up to the 2024 elections.

The Republicans have previously announced that their first debate will take place in Milwaukee in August and that it will be broadcast on Fox News. McDaniel was not expected to specify when the second debate would be scheduled or which outlet would carry it.
