Todd and Julie Chrisley, stars of the «Chrisley Knows Best» reality franchise, reported to the federal facility Tuesday to begin their prison sentences years after their fraud convictions, authorities said.
Todd Chrisley surrendered to Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Pensacola in Floridawhile Julie Chrisley arrived at Federal Medical Center (FMC) Lexington in kentuckyaccording to the Bureau of Prisons.
The couple were convicted of fraud, tax evasion and conspiracy by a federal jury in Atlanta in June. Todd Chrisley was sentenced to 12 years, his wife Julie Chrisley received 7 years.
The couple is best known for their show on the USA Network, which is owned by NBCUniversal, the parent company of NBC News.
An attorney for the couple declined to comment Tuesday.
The downfall of Todd and Julie Chrisley came around the same time that «Real Housewives of Salt Lake City» star Jen Shah was facing federal prosecution before pleading guilty to wire fraud.
She is scheduled to report to a federal facility on February 17 to begin her 78-month term.
