A photographer who was shoved by wide receiver Davante Adams after a «Monday Night Football» game has filed a lawsuit against the Los Vegas Raiders star.

The Kansas City Chiefs, Raiders, Jackson County Sports Complex Authority and Landmark Events Staffing were also named as defendants in the lawsuit, according to Missouri court records.

University of Missouri-Kansas City student Park Zebley was accredited and working for a local production company hired by ESPN to cover the Week 5 game.

When Adams walked off the field late in the game, Zebley appeared to have been shoved so hard that he was knocked down.

Adams was later charged with misdemeanor assault, but Zebley decided to take legal action against the NFL star, according to The Kansas City Star.

«A municipal misdemeanor battery charge is not enough,» Zebley said in a statement to the Star. «I’m seeking justice. You can’t just push someone and walk away like it never happened. Not in real life.»

The lawsuit claims that the Chiefs, Jackson County Sports Complex Authority and Landmark Events staff «failed to provide the necessary quantity and quality of field security.»

According to court records, Adams is being sued on one count of assault. The Raiders face one count of vicarious liability and ratification and one count of negligent supervision.

The lawsuit also mentioned that Zebley received death threats from Raiders fans after his identity became public shortly after the incident.

«In the days that followed, the media and various Las Vegas Raiders and Adams fans discovered (Zebley’s) identity, circulated his contact information and made death threats against him, as well as other generally vile comments,» it says. demand, through the star.

«(Zebley) felt concerned for his own safety and sought advice and stayed away from his apartment.»

Dan Curry, an attorney representing Zebley, said his client is seeking compensation for the pain he has been subjected to in the months since the incident.

«We’re in the early stages of this, but (Zebley) is seeking compensation for what happened to him, and if a jury has to decide, then it’s up to the jury to decide,» Curry said.

Adams issued an apology in October.

«Sorry for the guy I pushed after the game,» Adams wrote in a since-deleted tweet. «Obviously (he was) very frustrated with the way the game ended and when he ran in front of me when I came out, that was my reaction and I felt horrible right away.»

The NFL did not suspend Adams last season, but it’s unclear if the league will impose any type of punishment in the future.

Adams is scheduled to appear in court June 26 on the misdemeanor charge. A case management conference related to the lawsuit is scheduled for August 23.
