Netflix and ACE Entertainment are teaming up for another project: a young adult romance film called Love at first sight It will be released on Netflix exclusively in September 2023.
The film adapts the novel of the same name, first released in 2011. Katie Lovejoy is writing the screenplay adaptation and worked on the second and third to all the boys films.
vanessa caswill he serves as the film’s director. He has mainly worked on short films and television miniseries, including Gold seeker for Acorn TV, Little woman for PBS, and Thirteen for BBC America.
Matt Kaplan is serving as a producer on the film, Aubrey Bendix is serving as a co-producer, and among the list of executive producers are Max Siemers, Matthew Janzen, Jennifer E. Smith, Christopher Foss, Mark Lane, and Haley Lu Richardson.
The new movie comes from Ace Entertainment, which is currently working on a host of projects for Netflix and worked on the beloved to all the boys Adaptations NOW.
Some of his upcoming projects include florida man for Netflix, a new TV series from Drew Hancock and Chris Romano. they are also working on XO, kittya derivative of To All The Boys. More recently, Netflix acquired another movie from them in the form of a Hello, goodbye and everything in betweenwhich will be released this summer.

The cast assembled for the film includes (listed in image order from top left, top right, bottom left, and bottom right):
- Haley Lu Richardson will play Hadley, known for five feet away and the edge of seventeen. Soon to appear as Portia on HBO the white lotus.
- Ben Hardy will play Oliver, known for X-Men Apocalypse and those of netflix 6 underground.
- Jameela Jamil – best known for the good place (on Netflix globally) and set to appear on Disney’s She Hulk.
- Rob Delaney – best known for the Prime Original Catastrophe and Deadpool 2.
- Dexter Fletcher – known by rocketman and eddie the eagle.
- sally phillips – known by Pride and prejudice and zombies and the Bridget Jones films.
Where is the movie in production?
The filming of the project has already concluded. According to the production notes on IMDb, the movie was shot in early 2021, with cameras rolling between January and February. It has been in post-production ever since.
The film is shot entirely in the United Kingdom, and some scenes were filmed at Stansted airport, one of the busiest in London (something like) airports.
When Love at first sight Premiere on Netflix?
We don’t have the exact date yet, but the film was first announced to be on the 2023 slate in January 2023.
We have since learned that the film is scheduled to premiere sometime in September 2023.
