In October 2022, six months ago, the US space agency NASA created an independent scientific team to study the unidentified aerial phenomena. That is, all those sightings that cannot be identified as aircraft or natural phenomena and that, until now, we don’t know what it is exactly. After several months of work, NASA has announced that it is ready to provide a first batch of results from its first independent study on UFOs.

As the agency itself has announced, the first conclusions of this work will end in a public lecture that will take place Wednesday May 31 at 4:30 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time). The meeting, which will be broadcast live through all NASA platforms and social networks, will serve to publicize the preliminary results of this scientific work before the publication of the big final report (expected for this summer). According to the call, «in accordance with the law of the federal advisory committee», during the event questions from users about these enigmatic phenomena will be answered.

On the same Wednesday, May 31, after this public conference, NASA also plans to hold a independent press conference (and probably ‘behind closed doors’) for the media. In this second meeting, as explained by the agency, it will be possible to comment on the results of the study with some of the experts who have led it. In this event will also be present Dan Evans (Deputy Administrator of NASA’s Department of Research and Science Mission Management) and david spergel (Chairman of the Simons Foundation and Chairman of NASA’s Independent UFO Study Team).

Last year, the US space agency announced a investment of 100 million dollars to delve into the study of the enigmatic (and controversial) unidentified aerial phenomena. To this end, a team of «independent experts» was created, led by 16 professionals of different profiles (from astrophysicists and biologists to experts in artificial intelligence, science journalists and experts in diplomacy).
