It’s been months since Logan Paul has been in a wrestling ring because he was recovering from a torn ACL.

On Saturday night, the YouTube star made his WWE return in the 30-man Royal Rumble match and had an electric moment with his partner Ricochet.

Paul entered the match as the 29th entrant. He entered the ring and immediately took punches from Austin Theory, Seth Rollins, and Ricochet. Paul was able to snap out of it and prevent the elimination of big man Braun Strowman.

Paul, at one point, was on the platform and in dangerous territory and could have been taken out if someone pushed him down. On the other side of the ring, he saw Ricochet. The two nodded in agreement and jumped to the top rope, crashing into each other in the middle of the ring.

The double springboard clothesline wowed the wrestling audience and immediately went viral on social media. Twitter CEO Elon Musk even added his own comment on the action.

Paul and Ricochet were eventually knocked out, but it was one of the highlights of the match.

It’s the first time Paul has been in the ring since his Crown Jewel title match against Roman Reigns. He pushed the «Tribal Chief» to the limit in Saudi Arabia, but Reigns emerged as the victor.

Paul later revealed that he sustained serious injuries as a result of the match, but it seemed like he only needed a few months of recovery to get back in the ring and do what he did on Saturday night.
