The World Baseball Classic is giving off a postseason atmosphere in March, and the tournament saw perhaps its wildest celebration yet.

In a win-or-go-home matchup between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, Francisco Lindor brought the crowd, and most of his teammates, to their feet with a home run inside the Little League park.

Puerto Rico’s Lindor singled up the middle, but center fielder Julio Rodríguez misplayed the ball. As the ball rolled to the wall, Lindor kicked at a much higher speed and ran all the way home.

The New York Mets shortstop slid into the plate to score the run and tossed his helmet into oblivion as teammates hounded him like it was a walk-off home run.

The round put the Puerto Ricans up, 5-1, in the top of the fifth inning.

Lindor rounded out the bases in an elite 15.70; he also added an RBI single early in the game.

The loser of the Group D matchup heads home, while the victorious team will remain in Miami for the semifinals against Mexico, the winner of Group C.

Venezuela has already won Group D, so they are waiting for the runner-up in Group C, which will be the US, Canada or Colombia. The USA clinches the spot with a win over Colombia on Wednesday night, while the tiebreakers would come into play with a loss.
