Authorities in southern Louisiana are investigating a woman who was found in the freezer of an Arby’s restaurant, police said Friday.
The body of the woman, an employee of the restaurant in New Iberia, was found shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday, New Iberia police said in a statement.
“This matter remains under investigation, and foul play is not suspected at this time,” police said.
No other details have been revealed. The woman’s identity was not released.
New Iberia is a city of about 28,000 about 20 miles southeast of Lafayette.
