One of the most important projects of the Gustavo Petro government is the Pension Reform, which has been called ‘Change for old age‘, and is promoted by the portfolio of Work headed by Gloria Ramírez.

A couple of days ago, during the International Forum for the Transformation of Work, the minister assured: «We have 47 articles that are already in full agreement, 18 more that are up for debate where there are differences, we have 7 with partial agreement and two articles new ones that are to reconcile”.

In this sense, the filing is expected to take place this Tuesday.

So, a question has arisen among Colombians and do the changes in the pension reform project apply to all contributors?

The answer is no, since article 76 of the initiative establishes that People who, upon the entry into force of the law, have 1,000 weeks of contributions, will continue to apply in full the provisions of Law 100 of 1993 and the regulations that modify, repeal or replace it..
