Chad «Ochocinco» Johnson made close to $50 million in his NFL career, and there’s a good chance he had a lot of it when he hung up his shoes.
The former Cincinnati Bengal said he regularly bought fake jewelry and flew commercial flights to save money while in the NFL.
«Fly private? I’m not going to fly private,» he said on Shannon Sharpe’s «Club Shay Shay» podcast. «Put me on Spirit. Exit row. Window seat. That’s all I need. As long as I’m going from point A to point B. I don’t need private.»
Ochocinco was widely considered one of the best receivers in the game when he played. His excellent game combined with his antics made him a household name.
