chicago bears quarterback justin fields he’s preparing for his third season in the NFL, and already believes he’s one of the top five quarterbacks of all time.
Fields is coming off a season in which he rushed for 1,143 yards, the second-most rushing yards for a quarterback in a single season behind lamar jackson of the Baltimore Ravens.

Jackson rushed for 1,206 yards during the 2019 season.

Fields was recently asked for his top five quarterbacks of all time, and the Bears quarterback was listed along with four other quarterbacks.
«Oh, I am because I definitely think I am,» Fields said on the «All Things Covered» podcast when told he could be included in the top five.
«I’m definitely in the top five. There’s no order, but I have to go with my son.» mike vicI have to go with Cam [Newton]The sea [Jackson]of course, me, and then final… Steve Young too».
While Fields was fantastic on the field in 2022, The Chicago Passing Game he struggled, finishing the season last in the NFL in passing yards per game (130.5).
Chicago went out and acquired a receiver for Fields in the offseason, trading the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft to carolina panthers for DJ Moore, along with one future first-round pick and two second-round picks.

Moore has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in three of his five NFL seasons.
«It came quickly,» Fields said in June of his chemistry with Moore, according to NFL Network. «I wasn’t really expecting anything because it’s different for every guy, but I feel like with DJ, his body language is pretty easy to read. We communicated early on about how we wanted each route to be executed and things like that.»

«Of course, he has a lot of experience. He’s been in the league for a good period of time. He’s played a lot of football, so he knows the different coverages very well. That’s something that impressed me a bit.» the offense coming in and just understanding, seeing very well the coverages on short routes and things like that. He has been great. And you know, the chemistry has definitely improved.»
The Bears report to training camp on July 25.
