The script for A tour guide to love will be written by screenwriter Eirene Donohue, whose credits include Girls Night Out, Sugar and Spice Holidays, A Christmas Sparkle, Y Christmas cheer.
Cook will produce as well as star. Jim Head of Head First Productions will also produce, with Muse Entertainment’s Joel S. Rice and Lydia Storie serving as executive producers.
Directing the film is Steven Tsuchida. The director has worked on several Netflix projects in the past, including directing episodes of cobra kai Y Dude’s healing powers. On the film front, last year he directed resort to love which fell in July 2021.

As of November 2021, Netflix A tour guide to love it is planned to go into production in March 2022 according to the number 1271 of weekly production. Filming was reportedly set to take place in Southeast Asia, particularly Vietnam.
In March, Netflix confirmed that the film would be filmed in April 2022, marking the first major production targeting Vietnam since the global pandemic.
