A grand jury in New York has voted to indict former President Donald Trump, three officials familiar with the matter said Thursday.
The case centers on a $130,000 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels during the final days of the 2016 presidential campaign. Daniels claimed she slept with a married Trump in 2006, a claim the former president has denied. Trump classified the refund of her payment as legal expenses.
